Concrete Cutting, Coring, and Demolition in Park City, Utah

We make the trip up the canyon for concrete cutting, core drilling, and demolition in Park City and Summit County. Free estimates, call or text.

Park City, Utah

Up the canyon, from Old Town to Kimball Junction.

We bring concrete cutting, core drilling, and demolition up the canyon to Park City and Summit County. From remodels in Old Town to newer construction out at Kimball Junction, the Canyons, and Deer Valley, we cut, drill, and break out existing concrete. We do not pour it and we do not finish it. We work with what is already there, which means flat and slab sawing, wall and wire sawing for doorways and egress windows, core drilling clean round holes for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, and breaking out driveways, slabs, walls, and footings.

Park City sits above 7,000 feet, and that mountain elevation is about as hard on concrete as it gets in Utah. Long winters, heavy snow load, spring runoff, and brutal freeze and thaw swings crack, heave, and settle slabs faster than they do down in the valley. Add heated driveway systems, steep grades, and second home remodels running on a tight window between seasons, and there is constant demand for precise cutting and clean removal.

Mountain jobs reward planning. We look at access, water, and where the slurry is going to go before we start, because on a steep Park City lot those are the things that turn a simple cut into a long day.

Why it matters here

A straight price before we make the trip.

We saw right to the line so the concrete you are keeping does not crack, and we keep dust and slurry under control to leave the site clean and meet OSHA silica rules. A local person answers when you call, and we will bid the smaller jobs by text. Because Summit County is farther out than the rest of our area, we give you a straight, fair price up front, for free, with nothing added on at the end.

Seasons, access, and second homes

Summit County work runs on a calendar. Remodels get scheduled between ski season and summer, driveway work gets squeezed into a short dry window, and a second home owner is often coordinating the whole thing from out of state. We will work with a property manager, a builder, or an owner three time zones away, and we will send photos of the finished cut so you do not have to be standing there to know the job got done right.

Good to know

Park City questions, answered.

Do you really come all the way to Park City?
We do. Summit County is part of our service area and we make the trip up the canyon regularly. We will quote you a straight price for the job before we head up, so you know the number in advance.
Can you core through a slab that has a snowmelt system in it?
We can, and this is exactly the kind of job worth talking through first. Tell us what is in the slab and where, and we will plan the holes to miss it. If nobody is sure where the lines run, say so up front and we will plan the safest approach instead of guessing.
Is winter work possible up here?
Often, yes, though weather and access set the pace. Water and slurry are the main problem in freezing temperatures, so we plan around it. Call and we will be straight with you about what is realistic.
Do you pour the concrete back?
No. We cut, core, demo, and haul off. We do not pour or finish, so your concrete contractor takes it from there.
Can you work around a tight remodel schedule?
That is most mountain work. Tell us the window you have and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it. If we cannot, we will say so instead of taking the job and letting your schedule slip.
